EPIC Faculty Fellowship Program

Open to faculty and academic staff from any community college.

Fellowship Period: August 2024 - May 2025

This competitive fellowship program will bring together 10 community college faculty and academic staff to work collaboratively with colleagues at Stanford for one academic year on projects aimed at internationalizing course curricula and producing innovative curricular materials for use in community college classrooms. Fellows represent a broad disciplinary cross-section, including the humanities, social sciences, mathematics and hard sciences.

EPIC Leadership Program

Open to mid- and senior-level administrators at community colleges and Minority Serving Institutions.

Fellowship Period: August 2024 - May 2025

Stanford Global Studies hosts an Education Partnership for Internationalizing Curriculum (EPIC) Leadership Fellowship Program that brings together a cohort of mid- and senior-level administrators from community colleges and MSIs across the United States to participate in leadership training and design programs at their home institutions to support international education.

EPIC Symposium

Each year, community college faculty and administrators from across California gather at Stanford to discuss ways to prepare students for a world that is increasingly interconnected. This full-day symposium explores the challenges and opportunities of developing global studies at community colleges, and includes workshops, networking opportunities and presentations by Stanford faculty and community college professors who have collaborated with Stanford University partners to integrate international topics into their curricula.

Community College Student Fair

This day-long event is designed for community college students who are interested in global studies and/or global careers. The event will consist of workshops and presentations facilitated by Stanford faculty and scholars.
