The War Owl looks at the evils of war as initially rendered in Iran's grand epic poem, Shahnameh, and revisited by Bahar, the country's twentieth century master lyricist. The play is written and directed by Reza Allamehzadeh, with the solo performance of Hamid Abdolmaleki and live musical accompaniment by Faramarz Aslani.
