Stanford's Cafecito Quechua is a CLAS-sponsored student working group that brings together the Stanford and neighboring communities to learn about the Quechua language and its culture. Meetings take place on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm and it is open to anyone who wishes to attend. Our hope is to highlight the presence of the Quechua community in the Bay Area, and encourage participants to learn more about Andean cultures and relevant news. Every week we will teach the basics of the Quechua language, and we will have guest speakers. Free and open to all. No prior knowledge of Quechua is required. Hope you can join Cafecito Quechua!
