Stefanie Pietkiewicz

Stefanie Pietkiewicz is a dedicated communications professional with a decade of experience working in higher education. As the communications manager for Stanford Global Studies, she works to advance the division's mission of global research, teaching, and community outreach through storytelling and multimedia communications. Prior to joining SGS, Stefanie worked in communications roles in Stanford's Department of Chemistry and UCLA’s Office of Information Technology. 

A Southern California native, she holds a B.A. in international development studies from UCLA. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and Florence, Italy—experiences that sparked her enduring love of travel.

Stefanie currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband and two children.
