Grace Munene

Global Studies Internship Manager, Stanford Global Studies

Grace manages the Stanford Global Studies Internship Program. Prior to coming to Stanford, she was serving as an assistant director with the International Summer Service Learning Program at the Center for Social Concerns, University of Notre Dame, IN. Her experience in higher education has involved various roles mostly supporting international experiential learning programs including research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. She has also supported various education exchange programs domestically for young professionals.

Grace also has experience in international program management having worked in the field of global health in various roles including research and advocacy particularly in hospice and palliative care in the continent of Africa. She earned her B.A in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and MSc in Applied Anthropology from the University of North Texas, Denton.
