John Groschwitz Receives Dean's Award of Merit

Please join us in congratulating John Groschwitz, Associate Director of the Center for East Asian Studies, for being a recipient of this year's Dean’s Award of Merit!

"John is a true leader within the CEAS and broader SGS communities, and we are grateful for his standards of administrative excellence and helpfulness, commitment to our health and well being with his Qigong classes, and just all around good humor," said SGS Executive Director Kate Kuhns.

The Dean’s Award of Merit originated in 1999 in an effort to acknowledge the important role staff play in the success of the School of Humanities & Sciences and the University as a whole. The award is given to staff who have made significant contributions during the previous calendar year, fostered productivity and creativity, and demonstrated stellar performance, among other criteria.

Groschwitz was one of three recipients of this year's award. Congratulations John!
