Stanford Global Studies and the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education offer half-day workshops for community college faculty. Each workshop includes a presentation and Q&A with a leading Stanford professor on their latest research.

The Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) and Stanford Global Studies (SGS) are pleased to offer a professional development workshop for community college educators featuring Jisha Menon, professor of theater and performance studies at Stanford, who will be discussing her newest book, Brutal Beauty: Aesthetics and Aspiration in Urban India (2021). The workshop is free and open to all community college educators, and attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the book. This workshop is made possible through the support of U.S. Department of Education Title VI funding.
