Organization Profile: Magic Bus works with children and youth living in poverty to ensure they complete secondary education, and develop the skills required to transition successfully into the world of work. We believe that facilitating this journey from Childhood to Livelihood enables young people to break out of the poverty cycle. At present, we are working with more than 3.75 lakh children and 1480 employees across 22 states of India.

Work description:

CEO Office –

Surveys - to find the effectiveness of our Livelihood programs and how we can improve mobilization and employer engagement.

MB believes that its youth graduate program brings in strong transferable skills in the youth which helps them to cope with the challenges of organized job careers.
1) We need to see how effective it is as compared to other offerings in the market and our USP
2) how can we take this to more and more employers and monetize it
3) How can we seamlessly build a model for strong mobilization of youth at the centers through tie-ups with other partners, digital and feet on the street and other ways of mobilization

Competency Mapping across all levels and Functions and career development

Clarity on Organization's expectation, employee’s development and role enhancement in a structured manner, succession planning for key roles, helps in attracting candidates and retaining staff, clarity to employees on performance aspects and also on behavioral attitude.

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and coterms who are undergraduates in all majors, including undeclared. Coterm students must still have undergraduate status. Masters students in all majors are also eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be current Stanford students during the internship period. Seniors must postpone graduation paperwork until the internship ends, but may participate in commencement. For summer graduation requirements, including details regarding enrollment requirements and information about participation in the June commencement ceremonies, students should contact their major department's student services office and Registrar's Office for graduation quarter petition.
  • Preferably, before beginning their internships, selected candidates should have taken at least one course regarding the internship region. The course can be taken in the spring quarter.
