Ivy Davis
My name is Ivy Davis, and I’m entering my junior year at Stanford University, majoring in science, technology, and society. This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with Magic Bus India Foundation in Mumbai, India, thanks to your generous support.
Magic Bus focuses on equipping Indian adolescents and youth with the life skills they need to complete their education and secure sustainable employment, ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty. My work primarily focused on expanding Magic Bus's connections within the global philanthropic ecosystem through data analysis and donor outreach, to help strengthen the organizations' fundraising strategies.
One of the most memorable moments of my internship was spending a day at the schools where Magic Bus programs are implemented. It was truly inspiring to witness firsthand how eager and motivated these kids are. Seeing how much potential they have, and knowing that with the right support system, they can achieve so much, reinforced the importance of the work Magic Bus does.
This experience has been transformative for me, both personally and professionally. The children and communities served by Magic Bus are truly in need of every bit of support, and I feel honored to have played a part in their journey. Thank you for giving me this platform to make a difference for these kids—they deserve it.
