Galia Santana-Oikawa

I'm Galia, an incoming senior studying human biology and sustainable architecture. I'm from Tijuana, Mexico and got to spend the summer working with Oficina de Resiliencia Urbana (ORU) in Mexico City. The office focuses on climate resilience through urban design and landscape architecture. I have been working on three projects with them this summer and have loved it! One of the projects was based here in the city and the other two in two other states in Mexico. The work feels very valuable and exactly like what I want to do post graduation. I am extremely thankful to have gotten the opportunity to work here with them. Thank you so much!
