Emily Tianshi

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow abroad through Stanford Global Studies. I am a senior studying data science and international relations. This summer, I had the privilege of interning at the NATO CCDCOE in Tallinn, Estonia. At my internship, I learned open-source cyber threat intelligence techniques, identified advanced persistent threat actors with an interest in the Baltic region, and met representatives from dozens of countries working at the Centre. I thoroughly enjoyed living in Tallinn and learning about the history of the Baltic region. I am excited and invigorated to return to campus and continue my studies after experiencing life abroad.
