Danielle Healy

My name is Danielle Healy, and I am a senior majoring in international relations and minoring in Russian language. In the summer of 2022, I worked at the University of Tartu in Tartu, Estonia.

During the internship, I engaged in social science research, a lot of literature reviews, and attended many conferences and interacted with a lot of university professors. I learned a lot more about Estonia and the work the University of Tartu is doing. I was grateful to learn about the instability in the region from those who are affected by it. I’m honored that I was able to assist and impact these communities.

My experience was amazing. This was my second time in Estonia, and I really felt that this experience elevated my knowledge and appreciation even more. I participated in a conference which talked about different topics surrounding issues in the region and it was beyond interesting. Thank you for your support, I am truly a better person because of this experience.
