2016 EPIC Symposium: Integrating Global Issues into Community College Curricula
This symposium will feature presentations by local community college professors who participated in the Education Partnership for Internationalizing Curriculum (EPIC) fellowship program, hosted by Stanford Global Studies.
This competitive fellowship program brings together 9 community college faculty from Foothill College and the College of San Mateo to work collaboratively with colleagues at Stanford for one academic year on projects aimed at internationalizing course curricula and producing innovative curricular materials for use in community college classrooms.
At the end of the academic year, fellows present their project outcomes and classroom experiences at the EPIC symposium. The event is open to faculty from all community colleges and will be held on May 14, 2016.
