Speaker:

Stanford’s Cafecito Quechua promotes Andean issues and cultures, inviting members to share their experiences with and passion for the region and its cultures. Meetings take place once per week and are open to anyone who wishes to attend. We will be bringing relevant cultural topics and news of the Quechua-speaking regions to our Bay Area community, and encourage people to learn more about Andean cultures. Every week we will also be teaching the basics of Quechua language to anyone who comes to the Cafecito, so that members may gain valuable language skills while also developing their interests in Andean cultures. No prior knowledge of Quechua required. Come join us! If you have any questions, please email Leo Velloso-Lyons at leogvell [at] stanford.edu (leogvell[at]stanford[dot]edu).
