About the talk

This talk will explore how a new, Pan-African institution conceptualized 'Africa' in its curriculum, first by making it first foundational, and then excising it almost completely. It presents lessons drawn from rethinking undergraduate curricula, university partnerships, and skills-based education, and from exploring the encounter between frameworks and philosophies of teaching and learning from McKinsey Consulting to Paulo Freire.
