Speaker: Adams Bodomo, Professor, African Languages and Literatures, University of Vienna, Austria

Adams Bodomo specializes in formal theoretical linguistics, cross-cultural communication, digital humanities (languages and literatures in new media), global African diaspora studies, and international studies involving Africa and Asia. He is author of the critically acclaimed book, Africans in China: A Sociocultural Study and Its Implications on Africa–China Relations. Bomodo is Director of the Global African Diaspora Studies (GADS) Research Platform at the University of Vienna where he researches comparative African and Chinese linguistic structures and cross-cultural issues.
